How we handle your data.
ALKORA+ ("we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable, and all other privacy laws relevant to the territories we serve. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
In short
We collect your email address when you join the waitlist. We use it only to notify you about ALKORA+ launch, founding-member access, and product updates you ask for. We do not sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to privacy@alkoraplus.com.
Who we are
ALKORA+ is a brand of MARGIN INTERNATIONAL LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, United States of America. MARGIN INTERNATIONAL LLC is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data collected through alkoraplus.com (waitlist signups, browser preferences, server logs).
For sales within the European Union and the European Economic Area, ALKORA+ products are distributed by Hofburg Group s.r.o. (Praha, Czech Republic — IČO 27404072 · VAT CZ27404072). At the launch of e-commerce, Hofburg Group s.r.o. will become joint or separate controller of order, billing, and shipping data for EU/EEA transactions, and this policy will be updated to reflect the joint controllership arrangement under GDPR Article 26.

What data we collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary for the purposes set out below:
- Waitlist signup — your email address, voluntarily submitted via the "Reserve via email" button (mailto link). We do not run a server-side form.
- Browser local storage — your language preference (one key:
alkora-lang) saved by your browser. This is a functional cookie equivalent under GDPR and does not require explicit consent. - Server logs — our hosting provider (Netlify Inc., USA) automatically records IP addresses, browser version, and pages visited for security, performance, and abuse prevention. These logs are retained by Netlify per their policy and are not accessed by us routinely.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising tools on alkoraplus.com at the time of this policy. If we add them in the future, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent banner will be introduced.

Where your data goes
Your email address — once you click "Reserve via email" — opens your email client and sends a message directly to our inbox at waitlist@alkoraplus.com, hosted on a European email provider. The message is read by the founder and a designated brand operator. We do not share the address with third parties, do not enrich it with external data, and do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area for marketing purposes.
Hosting & infrastructure providers we use:
- Netlify Inc. (San Francisco, USA) — website hosting. Transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy) — domain DNS and email server.
- Google Fonts — typography served via CDN. Google may receive IP addresses; see Google's privacy policy.
Your rights
Under GDPR (and equivalent laws in your jurisdiction), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct any inaccurate information
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion
- Restriction — limit how we process your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing for legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent — at any time, with no effect on prior processing
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, garanteprivacy.it)
To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@alkoraplus.com. We respond within 30 days as required by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
alkoraplus.com uses one piece of browser storage:
alkora-lang(localStorage) — stores your preferred display language (EN / IT / DE / AR / FR / ES) so the site opens in your chosen language on return. Purely functional, no tracking, no third-party sharing.
No cookies in the GDPR sense are set. You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser settings.
Should we introduce analytics, advertising, or social tracking pixels in the future, we will publish an updated policy and implement an opt-in consent banner before activation.
Children
alkoraplus.com is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has shared personal data with us, write to privacy@alkoraplus.com and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data — TLS encryption, restricted email access, infrastructure providers certified to industry standards. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by GDPR Article 33.
Updates to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time — for example, when we introduce e-commerce features or new integrations. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Substantive changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email.
